Starting with a need rather than an architectural brief, this repeat client came to us with a list of things that needed a home. Beyond the program and a clear functional purpose, there was little other direction—which gave us the freedom to imagine what this simple barn in a field could become.

Clad in wood and metal and intentionally left to weather with time, the building takes its cues from the agricultural structures of the surrounding landscape. Its simple form echoes the ridgeline beyond, allowing the barn to feel both familiar and quietly connected to its setting.

Inside, there is a place for just about everything—farm equipment, recreational gear, and all the toys any self-respecting fun hog could desire. What began as a purely practical need became an exercise in simplicity: an honest building, shaped by its purpose and its place.
